Participants must bring their own large cardboard box to class the first night. The size of the box will determine the size of your tombstone. Bicycle boxes or large flat screen television boxes work well.

Thursday, September 25th, 6-9pm

Imagine building your very ownHauntedVillagecomplete with scary houses, rotted buildings, moldering crypts and decrepit cemeteries. This is a very fun workshop where you get to design your own building using a simple modular system then use papier mache to add convincing detail such as brick, wood, shingles and stonework.

The miniatures are the same scale as pieces produced by Department 56 and Lemax so you can add your piece to an existing layout. The size of the pieces are also compatible with “HO” scale model railroads.

In addition to creating your spooky building you will learn how to create a number of accessories such as tiny skulls, tombstones, fencing, coffins, trees, shutters and the like.
