snowman

This is an Online Papier Mache Workshop where you will learn all the techniques needed to complete a snowman or penguin.

You can even use the techniques to create a gnome or Santa character.

This workshop will show you how to turn recycled cardboard and newspaper into a delightful snowman or penguin themed to your liking.

You can create a cheerful and sparkly snowman, or if your taste runs to the darker side you can make a creepy snowman that will be sure to terrify all the little elves.

During each live video session you will be shown how to complete the steps necessary to complete the project.

During the first week you learn how to build the armature.

During the second week you will learn how to work with clay and create dozens of features and textures.

During the third and final session you will learn how to paint and properly seal your finished piece.

The live video sessions are your chance to ask questions and interact with the other students.

The workshops are casual and fun and designed to incorporate your ideas for each project.

NOTE: This workshop requires cellulose fiber insulation to make the paper clay used in the process. Please make sure you have access to this material before registering.

Price: $100.00 USD per person.

Check out the photographs in the gallery below to get a flavor for the project.

Instructions and details for registration are listed below the gallery.
